IN a dramatic incident, a woman from Makokoba suburb stormed into her lover’s home, demanded her jacket and viciously stabbed him twice in the eye.

The incident happened on Monday at Ross Camp in Bulawayo.

A neighbour, who spoke to B-Metro on condition of anonymity, said Sibukisiwe Ncube (26) visited her lover Constable Brighton Tsvangira at his home and found him sitting in the living room with his wife and children.

“She demanded her jacket from Brighton. Without hesitation Brighton stood and headed to their matrimonial bedroom and fetched it from the wardrobe. He then gave her,” the source said.

As if that was not enough, Sibukisiwe shouted obscenities at her lover. Brighton fired back and as a result a fistfight broke out.

“She grabbed him by his throat and punched him in the face. In a fit of rage she dashed to the kitchen and picked a knife and stabbed Brighton twice on the eye,” said the source.

He bled excessively and was rushed to United Bulawayo Hospitals for medical treatment.
Sibukisiwe fled from the scene and was later arrested at her home.

Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube could not be reached for a comment.
