IN-FORM Highlanders meet their bogey side ZPC Kariba in a potential Chibuku Super Cup semi-final thriller set for Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

Bosso, who under their Dutch gaffer Hendrik Pieter De Jongh, have been impressive, eliminated FC Platinum in a quarter-final clash that was played at Emagumeni a fortnight ago.

In another semi-final tie, Lloyd Chitembwe’s Harare City will do battle against Ngezi Platinum Stars at Baobab Stadium in Mhondoro on Saturday.

City had their imposing goalkeeper Maxwell Nyamupanedengu to thank as he proved his versatility at Rufaro Stadium on Wednesday when they beat Triangle after a penalty shoot-out to book their semi-final berth.

Triangle, who were smarting from being knocked out of the Caf Confederations Cup competition by Nouadhibou of Mauritania, were the winners of the Chibuku Super Cup in the previous year.

The Sugar Boys interestingly beat Harare City 2-0 in a match that was played at Gibbo Stadium.

It was through that Chibuku Super Cup glory that Triangle represented the country in interclub football.
