Organisers of the AmaPiano Festival, Group Therapy Community, are set to launch a new beverage on their collection, Uhuru Gin.

The festival, in its sixth edition, will be held on 30 October at The Venue with a Twist, in Killarney, Bulawayo.

Promoter and founder of Group Therapy Community, Vuyisile Ndlovu, said: “Uhuru Gin is a substitute of the custom-made Bulawayo Man Gin.

“When we realised that the Man Gin could not cater for our target market due to the high price, we decided to produce the Uhuru Gin in place of Bulawayo Man Gin.

“Uhuru Gin is accessible, affordable and it still has a rich taste as the Bulawayo Man Gin and we are excited to be having the official tasting of our product with potential clients at the AmaPiano festival,” said Ndlovu.

He continued: “Apart from the usual activities and the introduction of the new beverage, this month’s edition will also promote breast cancer awareness. Patrons are urged to dress in pink in line with the theme of the awareness.

“We have also designed pink drinks and gin slashes, as a way of promoting breast cancer awareness,” said Ndlovu.

The main purpose of AmaPiano festivals is to give young talented wheel-spinners a platform to showcase their talents on the decks.
