The Chevrons have a final chance to have a milestone in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Zimbabwe made history by qualifying for the T20 World Cup this year when they beat Singapore, Jersey,United States, Netherlands and Papua New Guinea in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup qualifiers which were held in Bulawayo.

The Chevrons took on India in a three-day ODI which was held at Harare Sports Club.
Zimbabwe went on to lose all three matches.

This might give Zimbabwe a fighting spirit to win the match on Sunday.

The Chevrons went to Australia and they competed in the group stages of the T20 World Cup and they qualified for the Super 12 despite the difficulties they faced taking on West Indies who won by 31 runs.

Zimbabwe then beat Scotland which resulted in them qualifying for the Super 12.

The first match was against South Africa.

The match ended with no results and the Chevrons shared a point with the Proteas.

Pakistan team went on to taste the mighty Chevrons and they fell short as they lost by one (1) run in a superb match, with an impressive performance by Sikandar Raza and Brad Evans bowling skills which saw Raza taking a hat-trick.

This saw Zimbabwe climb to number three drawing with the Proteas in Group Two.

The following match was against the tigers of Bangladesh where Zimbabwe fell short by three runs which was reminiscent of Pakistans pain, which left them at number four (4) on the log in Group Two.

The Chevrons went on to face the winless Netherlands, in an embarrassing match which saw Zimbabwe losing the match by five (5)wickets with only two players scoring double figures as Raza scored 40 and Williams scored 28.

This leaves Zimbabwe in an awful position as the team needs to leave the tournament in third position in Group Two.

This will guarantee the Chevrons an automatic qualification in the forthcoming T20 World Cup.

Which means the Chevrons need to beat India and Pakistan needs to lose against South Africa, Netherlands also need to lose to the Proteas and Pakistan need to beat Bangladesh.

India has a 92 percent winning probability.
