Local gospel sensation Siphosenkosi Ncube (23) otherwise known as Sipho Snowy in the gospel music circles is set to shoot a live DVD recording at the Family Of God (FOG) auditorium on Saturday.

The DVD recording which will feature 10 of Sipho Snowy’s original compositions is titled Uyisagila Sami which translates to “Lord, you are my fighting weapon.”

The project is the artiste’s token of appreciation to God, giving thanks for everything he has done for him.

The soft spoken pint-sized musician revealed that the album was a mirror of what God has done to his life and the best way he could pay tribute was through what he knows best, praising and worshipping.

“This is my first solo DVD recording and I am excited that God has brought me this far. Uyisagila Sami is an offering where I give praise to Yahweh on everything he has done for me from the days of hardships, sadness and happiness in my life.

“The manner I penned all the 10 songs, is my testimony because they all talk about how the Lord has protected me in all the wars I have fought in my life, thus, it inspired the title of the DVD,” said Snowy.

His single titled Baninda Igazi, a piece which featured on the Family Of God Live DVD recording early this year, is likely to move the crowds that will attend the event as it is known to many of his fans.

Snowy has few words to promise fans but he revealed that God would be at work and worshippers must come in numbers to witness the works of God.

“This DVD recording is not about me, it is about giving thanks to God for what he has done and I believe it might have significance and connection to the audience that will attend, so I urge them to come in numbers to see God at work,” said Snowy.

Before becoming a solo artiste, Snowy had a stint with local gospel choirs including Vocal Extraordinary and Gospel Unplugged.
