ZIMBABWE all-rounder Sikandar Raza has been picked to take part in the Bangladesh Premier League which runs from January 21 to February 18.
This will be the third time he takes part in the competition having featured in it twice before.
He was drafted by the Khulna Tigers this week.
“I can’t wait to be back for BPL and this time with Khulna Tigers,” tweeted Raza.
Six teams Khulna Tigers, Chattogram Challengers, Dhaka, Fortune Barishal, Cumilla Victorians and Sylhet Sunrisers will feature in the tournament which will be played in three venues across Dhaka, Sylhet and Chattogram. Raza has in the past played in various competitions around the world.
He has had stints in the West Indies, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Canada, Nepal, Afghanistan and neighbouring South Africa in the past.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe will play three one-day internationals in Sri Lanka next month, the island’s cricket body announced on Tuesday.
All three day-night games in the series will be played at the Pallekele Stadium in the central city of Kandy on January 16, 18 and 21.
In February Afghanistan are also expected to tour Zimbabwe for a limited overs series.
