Seagirl unmoved by boo boys

Music is my passion and I am determined to move forward. Nothing will stop me,” said Novuyo Seagirl as she braced herself for another public performance that will be held in honour of Dr Joshua M N Nkomo at White City Stadium next week Saturday.

It hasn’t been a smooth road for the local songstress who has experienced total rejection from people she thought were her fans as they booed her off stage twice.

The Aeiou hit-maker said none of those two experiences have affected her negatively.  She said instead they had been lessons for her on what to expect next time she is asked to perform after two music giants.

She believes everything is okay with her performances.

“The problem is not with sharing the stage with Winky D or Jah Prayzah, neither is my performance the problem, but it’s about the arrangement made by promoters.”

The award winning muso said she was ready to rock the stage at the Umdala Wethu concert and she won’t entertain any bad vibes.

“I am ready for Umdala Wethu concert and I will bring my A game which is what I do best.

“I am determined in making my music heard and advancing myself in this game because this is my passion,” she added.

Seagirl said she takes every event as an opportunity to shine.

“I always take any event as a moment to shine for me, regardless of whatever happens I give it my all. I make sure I shine all the time,” said Seagirl.

She will share the stage with some of the great artistes produced by Bulawayo such as the queen of dance Sandra Ndebele, SaMamo hit-maker Madlela, Mzoe 7 and Asaph among other city artistes.
