NOT every street peddler of perfume products is genuine, some are thieves who rob you blind after giving you a whiff of their fragrant liquids.
A number of unfortunate Bulawayo residents have reported falling victim to the ‘perfume robbers’ who stole from them after making them sniff their perfumes which knocked them out.
Bulawayo Police Spokesperson, Inspector Abednico Ncube said they have not received such complaints but advised the public to be on the lookout.
“We urge members of the public to be careful, not to inhale anything from a stranger. People should know if ever someone wants you to inhale something you rather have two or three friends of yours who are not going to inhale then you prove that you are safe.
“People should act wisely before they get mugged, raped, robbed or harmed,” said Inspector Ncube.
