Prophet Passion Java and the president of the Zimbabwe Youth Presidential Support Organisation, Tempter Paul Tungwarara have made an undertaking to offer loans to youths who come up with sound business plans.
The promise was made on Monday at a private club where Java donated belated Christmas gifts to the elderly, orphans and the vulnerable.
The program will start next year in Chitungwiza, Java’s home town, before it is spread to the rest of the country.
The loans will range from US$500 to US$3000.
“The program will target all the youths, venders, miners and all professionals and experts engaged in commodity selling in all parts of Zimbabwe,” said Tungwarara.
Youths will be given up to six months to repay the loans.
“I am not a politician but I believe in the vision of President Mnangagwa of supporting and empowering youths and so as a socialite and influential prophet, I will support him with my resources,” said Java.
Youths interested in getting the loans can contact them using their Instagram page or WhatsApp them on the number appearing on their Instagram page passion java records.
