A 69-year-old polygamist from Ndawana village under Chief Nembudziya in Gokwe is in the habit of forcing his four wives into a sex orgy each time he comes home drunk.
This was heard when Tendai Masimba, a father of 23, was dragged to Chief Nembudziya’s traditional court by his four wives, Paulina Gatsheni, Phahlani Chirume, Getrude Sibanda and Rumbidzai Moto, who accused him of treating them like ladies of the night each time he drinks.
The four women shocked the court upon revealing that their husband wanted to have sex with all of them at the same time insisting that they were all his wives.
Chief Nembudziya confirmed the incident saying he ordered Masimba to treat his wives with respect.
“Masimba’s wives were complaining that their husband is in the habit of wanting to have sex with all of them at the same time. They said they felt uncomfortable about this new arrangement and they tried talking to him but it never helped.
“They said he sleeps with them one after the other forcing them to watch while he beds the other wife,” he said.
Chief Nembudziya said Masimba blamed beer for his behaviour saying he loses control of his senses each time he gets drunk.
“He apologised to his wives promising that he will not do such weird acts in future adding that he will behave properly each time he takes the wise waters,” he said.
Chief Nembudziya said he warned Masimba to desist from ill treating his wives.
“I strongly warned him against abusing his wives because in my village we do not tolerate such kind of behaviour. We want men who respect their wives and treat them with dignity,” he said.
