Recently refurbished Palace Hotel is ready to hold shows that attract big local showbiz and musical brands as a way of affording artistes an opportunity to grace the stage again.

This was said by the hotel’s proprietor Tapiwa Gandiwa as Palace is getting ready to play host to raunchy and erotic dancer Beverly “Bev” Sibanda at Palace on 30 October.

She will be accompanied by her backing Sexy Angels Crew, and supported on stage by local artistes including Jah Practice, Jah Cyclone, Mr Kutchey, Focus and Mr Focky.

Only fully vaccinated patrons will be allowed to grace the show, according to Gandiwa.

“We will be hosting Bev and the Sexy Angels this month-end as well as a number of local artistes. This is our small way of appreciating Zimbabwean talent and ensuring that our artistes are able to put food on the table.

“Going forward as we head to the festive season, we will have even bigger shows and we will continue to adhere to the set Covid-19 regulations hence the shows will only be for vaccinated people,” said Gandiwa.

Gandiwa is not new in the game when it comes to promoting Zimbabwean artistes.

He was responsible for supporting and bringing Jah Prayzah for the first time in Bulawayo before he was even famous as he brought him to Club Royal.

Other artistes that Gandiwa has promoted include Sungura legend Aleck Macheso, Suluman Chimbetu, Shinsoman and the late Soul Jah Love.
