It seems the year 2023 will be more productive for multi-award-winning comedian Ntando Van Moyo as the Umahlekisa co-founder has joined forces with one of Zimbabwe’s leading bread manufacturing brands, Bakers Inn.
The joint venture has seen the two parties running a promotion starting in the middle of “January disease” called “Phatha u Bakers Inn, Phatha Amadola Promotion.”
Running from 9 January to 30 March, the promotion will see loyal consumers of Bakers Inn being given US$10, only if the customer meets Dollar Man (Van Moyo) while carrying Bakers Inn bread.
The ecstatic wordsmith said his management Umahlekisa helped him to secure the lucrative deal, and with Bakers Inn, they will be going around Zimbabwe with the promotion initiative which started in Bulawayo.
“We have been around Bulawayo with the promotion in places like Nkulumane and Cowdray Park and so far, the response has been good and we managed to give over ten people rewards for buying and consuming Bakers Inn bread.
“After Bulawayo, we will be going across the country during the duration of the promo which started on 9 January ending on 30 March.
Just like many creatives who have clinched endorsement deals with other companies, Ntando didn’t disclose how much he will pocket from the multi-United States Dollar (US) deal, with the funny ace man stating that it is worthwhile.
“All I can say is the deal is lucrative and I am grateful for the opportunities it presents. How it will change my career remains to be seen but I expect it to present more opportunities, growth, and more recognition for the Ntando Van Moyo brand.
“Thanks to Bakers Inn for entrusting me with their brand and I am looking forward to pushing it to even greater heights by making the Bakers Inn bread the loaf of choice wherever I go,” said Van Moyo.
