It’s going to be an AmaPiano affair at the 10th edition of the Victoria Falls Carnival as South Africa’s Scorpion Kings Kabza De Small and Maphorisa, Master KG and Mutare-bred songstress Sha Sha will be headlining acts.
Other foreign and local acts will be included on the star-studded line-up in a few weeks.
Traditionally, the Carnival is always slated for December.
However, due to the catastrophic Covid-19 pandemic, the dates for the much-anticipated gig to ever happen in the resort town has been shifted to 29 April to 1 May 2022.
The organisers of the carnival said the upcoming edition will be spiced up by a Secret Picnic Bush Party on the last day of the festivity.
“For the Grand Opening night, we with start our celebrations with the Amapiano Kings DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small supported by the Queen Sha Sha. We want our revellers to start their Carnival experience early with a night of the best in live Afro beats and Amapiano.
“After a fun-filled day in Vic Falls National Park, a place where one can take part in a host of different adventurous activities, the ‘Jerusalema’ hitmaker Master KG and a host of other top artistes will perform at our Electric Safari Experience.
“To end the carnival, a Secret Picnic Bush Party will be the closing act. Revellers should expect a laid back vibe with various live acts on the day, as well as delicious local cuisine and craft brew,” said the organisers.
Festival revellers will get a 10% discount on adventure activities that include sunset cruises, zip lining, canoe safaris, bungee jumping, helicopter flights, white water rafting, gorge swing and canopy tours.
