AFTER scooping the Male Outstanding Artiste of the Year award at the 2022 Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards, Kwaito artiste Mzoe 7, has hit the ground running in the year 2023.

With the esteemed gong now under his belt, Mzoe 7 is already juggling multiple projects to cement his brand.

“This year, music wise, Bulawayo and my followers all over the country should expect a one man show with high standard choreography and an EP. Apart from that, I’m working on a television project.  I am looking forward to a progressive year, with more partnerships as well as working with much bigger brands,” said the gifted artiste.

Expanding on his talent and recognition over the years, the young performer has ventured into the marketing and advertising sector as a brand ambassador of several companies.

“I am working with companies and brands like Chibuku, ZTN, Old Mutual, Pacific, Ecocash, and Sendi too. I partnered with some of these brands last year and I hope I will continue to get more endorsements from bigger institutions,” said the ever-evolving Mzoe 7.

The award winning all-rounder has everything that one might look for in a creative and that has made Mzoe 7 an outstanding figure in the local music scene.

His ability to continually re-invent himself and remain relevant in the cut-throat music industry is a testament to his never-just-go-with-the-crowd mentality that has propelled him to break through barriers.

From his well-documented rapping and acting prowess, Mzoe 7 has grabbed another golden platform to showcase his other side of creativity, which is choreography.

The unassuming artiste was the one in charge of choreographing and coordinating the launch of Sandra Ndebele’s 10th album function which was held at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair on 12 November last year.

What a major shift from the man from Entumbane!

His indefatigable efforts saw him work with South Africa’s legendary musical group Platform One, Professor, Mr Brown, La Dee, Msiz’Kay, Madam Boss as well as Mai Titi, performers that graced and performed at Sandra’s historic album launch.

Apart from the Sandra Ndebele album launch which generated US$28 000 from album sales, the other major gig that Mzoe 7 choreographed (alongside Gomez) was the spectacular Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards 2019 edition.
