Mlambosi Express Band will on 2 July perform at Mbalabala night club to remind its fans that Mlambosi is still alive and active.
“It is a show to update our fans that Mlambosi Express Band is still existing and active. Since we were disturbed by Covid-19 some of our fans were now thinking that maybe we no longer have live shows,” said Ngwenya.
The Mlambosi Express Band is a crew that originates from Luvuluma in Plumtree and is well known among Rhumba fans for its unique ‘tshibilika’ dancing styles.
The crew has for long been based in South Africa where it was performing most of its live shows and it was inactive during the lockdowns and it has relocated to Zimbabwe.
