It’s the battle of the sexes!
The 2018 Miss Bodylicious Mfaro Munyai said she is ready to crown the next queen among the beautiful 15 contestants that have qualified for the pageant’s finals.
Munyai, who is a student at the National University of Science and Technology (Nust) was crowned queen last year at King Solomon’s Hotel in Kwekwe after she came first among other contestants.
“I am over-excited for the upcoming event. Someone else will be taking over the crown and will enjoy the experience that the crown will bring to her just as I have enjoyed.
“However, I am a bit sad though because it has been really fun. I didn’t know the time to pass over the crown would come so soon,” said Munyai.
Munyai, who has enjoyed her experience as Miss Bodylicious was most grateful for the recognition she got across the country from the media and other pageants where she could get access as a VIP.
Meanwhile, director and national spokesperson of Miss Bodylicious Zimbabwe Alexio “Goodchild Gwenzi” revealed that everything was going according to plan for the pageant that will be held on 28 September at King Solomon’s Hotel in Kwekwe.
This is the first edition that the pageant is running as Miss Bodylicious Zimbabwe. Before, it was just Miss Bodylicious and centred on Midlands but now there was an inclusion of other places like Mutare, Chinhoyi, Bindura, Harare, Bulawayo, Masvingo, Gweru and Kwekwe.
Goodchild said the audience should look forward to seeing the ladies showcasing their beauty.
“Imagine how amazing, exciting and entertaining that would be to have beautiful ladies on stage in a competition of curves,” said Goodchild.
On the other hand, Munyai said she was thrilled about the coming event and looking forward to a further celebration of beautiful curvaceous middleweight women that are pretty, confident, and “bodylicious”.
