THEY started with a weekend Chillas which was a huge success, now they are back with Family Day Vibes at the same venue — Matopos Sailing Club.
The two-day event will be held this weekend, on 15 and 16 January. Gates will be open from 9am.
The weekend Family Day Vibes will see families boat riding, canoeing, quad biking, horse riding, castle jumping, speed boating and braaiing.
Cooler boxes are allowed into the venue, but one has to part with US$10. Entry fees are pegged at US$1 for kids and US$3 for adults.
Philip Phiri, one of the founders and director of Modern Magnet Investments, the company on a drive to promote tourism in Matabeleland South said: “we are creating a nexus between entertainment and tourism for the whole family, that is why we chose the theme Family Day Vibes.”
Phiri revealed that they will be hosting events every two weeks.
“We also note that people have gone through a lot because of the pandemic, we have lost loved ones hence there is too much stress all around us.
