When he produced and composed Jerusalema together with Nomcebo, South African multi-award-winning muso Master KG just wanted to produce a gospel song to heal and unify masses from all walks of life.

As he was about to close his one-hour act, Master KG decided to perform his hit song and the crowd went wild as it sang along and danced the Jerusalema challenge.

He repeated the song four times due to public demand.

On the sidelines of the Victoria Falls Carnival, Master KG who hails from Tzaneen, Limpopo, South Africa, said he was amazed by the response of the crowd during his performance.

He also said he was impressed by the beauty of Victoria Falls, which is one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

“It’s my first time to be in Victoria Falls, I have heard people talking of the beauty of the falls, but I have finally come to see them with my eyes. God works in mysterious ways; this is beautiful nature.

“One of the highlights of my visit is the performance at the Carnival. It’s always amazing to perform in front of different people from all walks of life representing different nations and cultures but the Carnival is a living testimony that music is a universal language.

“When I performed Jerusalema, I could tell music was unifying people. When I created this song, I wanted a simple gospel tune but God has used me to unite people all over the world and that performance and the sing along by the crowds was just amazing,” said Master KG.
