ACTION heads into the second week in the Bulawayo Metropolitan Cricket Association with First League matches lined up for Queens Sports Club.
Log leaders Emakhandeni clash with second-placed National University of Science and Technology (Nust) on Saturday. The two teams were victorious in their respective matches played last weekend.
Emakhandeni made light work of Queens when they won by eight wickets on Saturday. Queens were all out for 91 and Emakhandeni only lost two wickets on their way to a resounding victory.
Nust made their debut in the First League with a 49-run success over last season’s champions BAC on Sunday.
Emakhandeni are on top of the log with nine points, Nust are on seven, BAC have a point while Queens are yet to collect any points.
On Sunday, BAC and Queens clash with the two teams searching for their first wins for this season.
There is also action in the lower leagues, with all the matches taking place at Emakhandeni Cricket Club on Saturday and Sunday.
