A LECTURER at Westgate Industrial College, who was accused by his “ex-wife” of bringing his girlfriend home, has filed a protection order against her after she allegedly called him a prostitute.
Tawanda Chikotsi said he was facing a tough time at the hands of his temperamental “ex-wife”, who is in the habit of insulting him in front of their children and his younger brother.
Tawanda went a gear up and revealed that his bitter “ex-wife” recently sent a string of messages to different WhatsApp groups labelling him an abusive husband and defamed his character by saying that he had sex with his girlfriend in the sitting room and left used condoms.
He said he is living in fear that his wife would come to his workplace to embarrass him.
Due to that Tawanda applied for a protection order against his “ex-wife”.
“I’m applying for a protection order against my ex-wife Loice Temezana. We have been married for eight years and our marriage was blessed with three children. She is in the habit of insulting me and calling me a prostitute. She recently sent messages to different WhatsApp groups labelling me a prostitute,” he said.
He added: “She is also threatening to come to my workplace to embarrass me. I am praying that this honourable court will grant me a protection order against her so that she will stop verbally abusing me and so that she will stop blackmailing me on social media. And bar her from coming to my work place.”
Loice said: “We are still married and our marriage was never terminated. I beg this court to force him to stop bringing his girlfriend home and support our children.”
The presiding magistrate Jeconia Prince Ncube granted Tawanda a protection order against Loice. She ordered her to stop verbally abusing Tawanda.
She was ordered not to prevent Tawanda from entering their matrimonial home and was also ordered not to visit her former husband at Westgate Industrial Training College.
