WITH many musicians warming up to releasing songs as early Christmas presents for their fans, Afro Contemporary Fusion musician Tamuka Mushava is set to drop two single tracks titled Futidza Rudo and Tinovimba Denga mid-November.
The track Tinovimba Denga is a prayer for the nation, it’s a plea to God to solve the problems that are affecting the country including the Covid-19 pandemic.
Futidza Rudo is a love song which preaches to couples to choose peaceful means to iron out their issues instead of resorting to violence which has seen Gender-Based-Violence (GBV) cases in the country surging.
In an interview with B-Metro Mushava said he was inspired by contemporary issues that were affecting the society.
“My music is emotionally driven by contemporary issues that affect societies. The main aim of my music is to educate, advocate and entertain people. The recordings are already done, now I am only waiting for the mastering process,” he said.
Mushava has so far gained air play on all national radio stations and ZTV.
His producer is Blessing Masanga who produced hit songs such as Ebenezer by Reverend Chivaviro.
His music, especially the Jenjere song which was released in August 2020, has also been nominated on future hit lists on several stations such as Star FM.
