In a dramatic incident, a man was dumped in court for spitting on his lover’s face after they had a misunderstanding.
It is understood that Tafadzwa Mutumwa of Nkulumane suburb is in the habit of spitting on Ellen Zvihwa’s face when they have disagreements.
Zvihwa is so tired of Mutumwa’s behaviour, so she decided to seek help from the courts where she also took the opportunity to dump her lover.
“I am applying for a protection order against Tafadzwa Mutumwa who is my boyfriend. The respondent usually comes home drunk and he starts spitting on my face in my children’s presence. I no longer love him and he must stay away from me.
May the honourable court also assist me in stopping the respondent from harassing, and insulting me. He must also stop coming to home,” said Zvihwa.
Mutumwa did not deny the allegations against him.
Magistrate Jeconia Prince Ncube ordered Mutumwa not to visit Zvihwa’s home, and to refrain from abusing her.
