Czech Republic-based musician Mamozi (real name Roben Mlauzi) has clinched an endorsement deal with Safari Park Dvur Kralove.
This comes after Mamozi shot and released a musical video for his single Ingoma on 15 November.
The song featured former Iyasa frontline dancer Futurelove Sibanda, and actor Zenzo Nyathi also featured on the video.
On their website the park wrote: “The Safari Park Dvur Kralove is grateful for its collaboration with Mamozi whose songs complement Africa’s vibes in zoo but also represent the organisation in various occasions.”
amozi who was nominated for Outstanding Newcomer at the fifth edition of the Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards (RoilBAA) welcomed the deal.
“It’s a must that a good day like this bears good news. I am excited to announce that I have bagged an endorsement deal with The Safari Park Dvur Kralove.
“Thank you Safari Park Dvur Kralove for trusting and appreciating our work. I am humbled and I am looking forward to this wonderful journey we will embark together,” wrote Mamozi on his Facebook timeline.
Mamozi left Iyasa in 2015 to pursue a solo career.
His stage name Mamozi is a combination of three Southern African countries.
Ma represents Malawi (where his father originated from), Mo represents Mozambique (his mother’s country of origin) and Zi representing Zimbabwe where the creative was born.
