Nesta is a Northlea High School pupil who signed for the Bulawayo cycling club last year.
More than 120 cyclists took part in the Gweru/Bulawayo race last weekend under various categories such as the juniors, veterans and elite.
Hokoyo Unimills Cycling coach Chris Kazingizi said conquering regional races was their next target.
“I’m so proud of the athletes for the commitment and discipline they have shown over the last few months.
“Coming into this race as defending champions, a lot of pressure was on us considering that we were competing against some of the best riders from Harare and Zvishavane.
“Our next target is to make a name for ourselves in regional races especially in Botswana and South Africa,” said Kazingizi.
