A Cowdray Park woman left the court in stitches when she begged the magistrate to stop her husband from jumping their precast wall.

Mutsai Grace Mhaka of Cowdray Park is now embarrassed of her husband Reuben Chingarande who is uncontrollable when it comes to jumping the wall.

“He has turned into a very strange man. He jumps the durawall instead of using the gate whenever we have any misunderstanding. The neighbours are also complaining because of his behaviour,” revealed a frustrated Mhaka.

Mhaka also took the opportunity to reveal to the court that she was also terrified of Chingarande who threatens to kill her with a knife, insults and assaults her in front of their children.

“We have been married for seven years and we have two children. My husband threatens to kill me. He always insults and assaults me in the presence of our five-year- old son. He also said even if I report him he will nullify the case because he knows the law better than me,” said Mhaka.

She added: “Therefore I pray the court will stop him from insulting, assaulting and threatening to kill me. He must also stop jumping over the durawall.”

Western Commonage magistrate Urgent Vundla granted an interim order pending a final decision.
