Fury Gun releases scorcher

Nketa 7-bred Afro Dancehall artiste Fury Gun, real name Norest Muringa, is the hottest property in the Bulawayo music scene as his newly released song Awukhuzeki has been certified by fans as a smash hit.

The song is the number one trending content on TikTok from Bulawayo as many have joined on the video challenge of the song.
Awukhuzeki, an Afro Dancehall fused with AmaPiano song was composed and produced by Fury Gunz himself, with the video starring “Umhlangabezi Wodumo” model Ben Chest, shot by Sanele Keaitse.

The song which is under Community Arts Amplified was motivated by “a guy who tried to love a girl, changing her to be wife material from a girl drinking at bars and nightspots. The guy fails to change the girl and he eventually gives up when he sees her cheating.”

Fury Gun who described himself as an Afro Dancehall creative, who is flexible and can adapt to different kinds of genres, said Awukhuzeki will feature on his first Extended Play (EP) titled Royal White.

“I was born in Mutare but I grew up in Nketa 7.I discovered my passion for music in 2007. I started my professional career in 2011, so, it’s been a while in the game as an underground artiste.

“To date, I have worked with different producers and artistes including Mr E, Tjinyebe Nyebe from Botswana, STG, Afro King, Toddler to mention a few,” said Fury Gun.

Fury Gun said he was excited that many of his fans love his song as it was trending on social media, proof that he was on the right track.
He said in the coming months, he would be releasing fresh singles that will be part of his much-anticipated EP Royal White.
