Funding cramps Sandy album

SONGSTRESS Sandra Ndebele has held back the release of her eleventh album because of financial constraints but will be touring the United Kingdom in May.

Ndebele had vowed to hit 2019 with a bang but was forced to eat her words.

“I was supposed to release my album early this year but I have postponed it to late August because of financial issues,” said Ndebele.

The promised album has not even shaped up.

“It’s still a skeleton art and we have not even named it as yet,” she added.

But to stay on the radar she will be releasing singles.

“I will be releasing singles in the meantime so that my fans can have something to listen to while we work on the big project,” she said.

She is hoping that advertisers and well-wishers will help in bringing out a complete album.

“It’s not always that we need money but we also need well wishers to help out, for example an endorsement deal is important for us to produce a video,” she added.

On the gigs side Sandy is set to share the stage with South African award winning artistes Skeleton Move hit maker Master KG and Collide hit maker Lady Zamar alongside Zimbabwe’s bad boy Roki at the Block Party in London and Manchester in May.
