South African multi-talented hip-hop artiste and Ambitious records member Sjava real name Jabulani Hadebe is finally coming to Bulawayo for the first time in his career courtesy of a “Live concert with Sjava” gig which will be held at BAC Leisure.

The much-hyped festivity is set for 22 December.

The 2018 Best New Act at the BET Awards will be expected to bring his smooth voiced, charming and comforting songs that spark love, foster reconciliations from heartbreaks and life motivating ones like Egoli, Uthando, Linda, Confession and Memeza, to mention a few.

To balance the show, 3D Events, who are the organisers of the show, have included Zim Dancehall chanter Freeman of the Ngaibake fame, hip-hop sensation Asaph, Cal_vin and Mzoe 7 on the line-up of performers.

Freeman, who will be bringing his smash hit (Ngaibake) in the city for the first time this year, revealed that he is happy to share the stage with Sjava as he is a big act in Africa and he is looking forward to learning a lot from him during the show.

“Apart from my song Ngaibake doing well locally, I am happy to have been recognised to share the stage with one of African music giants Sjava. This show will be more like a learning curve on how things are done.

“I am also going to release my energy so fans should expect fire,” said Freeman while in Durban on holiday.

There have been critics on social media on why Freeman was included on the Sjava show, however Mduduzi Mdlongwa representing 3D Events, who are the organisers of the show, revealed that they had to balance the line-up of performers to accommodate everyone.

“Bulawayo is a cosmopolitan city, this festive season we have different people coming from all over the world for holidays, therefore, we decided to do a show where there will be a South African flavour fusing it with local Bulawayo talent and also bring a Dancehall act so as to bring diversity,” said Mdlongwa.

Mdlongwa also revealed that they have fully secured Sjava and he will arrive in Bulawayo on the day of the show.

General tickets for the Sjava live in Concert show are pegged at R100, the VIP tickets are pegged at R200 while the VVIP tickets are pegged at R600.

Advanced tickets are available at Hartsfield Tshisanyama and Mzansi 4 Sho.
