Bulawayo’s contemporary artiste Fab G Mshana kaGogo will be releasing an Extended Play (EP) titled Isibane on 14 February, Valentine’s Day.
Isibane translates to light or lantern.
The EP will feature six tracks including Nomvula, Thenjiwe, Vuma, Londolozela, Emathandweni and Isibane, the title of the album.
The project narrates a love story of a young couple, who are deeply in love with each other from the beginning of their affair, building up to their wedding day.
“The EP is a shooting of my own music genre I crafted called Umthobanhliziyo Tribal. Isibane which means light is symbolical to love in this instance. I found a lot of common aspects between love and light and that both inspired me to compose this EP,” said Fab G.
The Magwegwe Old-born singer revealed that the EP aims to resurrect lost love, encourage honesty and loyalty in relationships as well as inspiring couples to get married.
“Love is a beautiful thing, of course there are fights here and there, but that defines a relationship. When love seems to fade away, there is need to work hard and bring it back to good times.
“With this EP, I am aiming at reviving lost love and inspire young couples to get married as it is a blessing from God to find a lifetime partner,” said Fag G.
