He cherishes Boohle so much!
South Africa-based Afro Fusion artiste Xolani Ndlovu otherwise known as Ex-Mile is happy that he and his longtime friend, Boohle, have finally established their ground and winning.
Boohle is a South African AmaPiano artiste who rose to fame after collaborating with Cassper Nyovest and Abidoza on the song Siyathandana.
Ex-Mile, who recently won the Outstanding Music Video (for Induk ‘Enhle visuals) at the fifth edition of the Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards (RoilBAA) said his achievements come from God, and he was happy that Boohle was also making it in the game.
As a caption of a picture, he posted on his timeline on Facebook, Ex-Mile said, “But guys, don’t underestimate God. These were our struggle days with Boohle and to think how far we have come; I can only say wow.
“On this day we were shooting a music video a few years ago. From there, we recorded songs together under the duo name Boohle and X-Mile.
“We performed together trying to push ourselves as much as we could and today, it’s a different story. We are both award winning artistes in our own rights.
“Surely if you hold on to your dream, it will pay off one day no matter what.
Believe in yourself,” said the Cowdray Park bred all-rounder artiste.
Meanwhile, Boohle set Bulawayo Athletics Club (BAC) Leisure on fire on 19 November at a dress up event which was sold out.
The gig, organised by 3D Events was a warm-up to major events that the management company will hold in the festive season.
“We are happy that the event went as planned and Boohle gave revellers value for their hard-earned money.
“With the success of the gig, we can say we have tested the waters and we are looking forward to rocking the festive season as we will host the likes of Kabza De Small, Maphorisa and Blaq Diamond, to mention a few,” said Mdu Mdlongwa from 3D Events.
