South African deep and tribal house disk jockey Da Capo, real name Nichodimas Mogashoa, is set to party with local fans as he will be performing at Cosmopolitan night club on Christmas Eve.
The 2019 prestigious Ibiza DJs Awards nominee will be hosted by local multi-award-winner, DJ Skaiva.
Skaiva, a big fan of Da Capo, revealed that he is grateful to host such a big name like the Limpopo-born star who has toured the world and represented African house music in numerous countries.
“Da Capo is slowly, but surely becoming a Deep House heavyweight in Africa, no wonder he was nominated at the Ibiza DJ’s Awards this year. I am delighted that I will be hosting him at Cosmopolitan as this will decorate my career and testimonials,” said DJ Skaiva.
Mduduzi Mdlongwa, who represents 3D Events, said that the Da Capo gig will be the best gathering in Bulawayo on Christmas Eve.
“Christmas Eve is all about creating memories that will last forever in people’s hearts and this year we decided to make it more special by organising a show where people will gather and create memories with DJ Da Capo as he is one of the strong forces to reckon with on the African deep house scene.
“Black Motion who were supposed to perform at the club (Cosmopolitan) were not able to make it to the gig due to some misunderstandings and glitches we had with Bee Cee (former Black Motion booking argent).
“However, we are delighted that Da Capo is coming to party with his Bulawayo fans as he has approved his appearance on the show,” said Mdlongwa.
General tickets for the gig are pegged at R100, while the silver tickets are pegged at R200. The gold tickets are going for R300 and the platinum tickets are sold at R600.
Tickets are available at Hartsfield Tshisanyama, Cubana and Zarah Lounge.
On decks, Da Capo will be supported by Cosmopolitan resident DJs Mzoe and Keezy, Champion Sounds ZW and 3D Family DJs will also rotate on the decks.
