Determine to change, to be drug-free

I believe it’s a season of change, and what are you changing yourself to become? It has been deadly out here, we see our brothers and sisters being taken away to a place called death as they failed to overcome the circumstances of being overdrunk with drugs and alcohol abuse.

We have seen brothers and sisters going for the sanitiser in its raw state, taking it and what have they become, they are now suffering from insanity not knowing what to take next.

These are circumstances which the youth have chosen to pursue in their drinking endeavour. If you find yourself staring at the sanitiser ask yourself what you will become in life.

You watch brothers and sisters looking at a consumed prescription drug that they would have consumed already “high”.

Drugs

It hardly dawns on them they are drunk and don’t know what to expect. You find them crawling on their knees after having taken depressants as these drugs make one a person calm and drowsy not knowing what to do next.

Next they go for next dose of stimulants in which after being so drowsy and calm you feel you have to shake yourself one more time and thus the stimulant becomes prey.

They take them intending to increase the energy and alertness, but which increases blood pressure, heartbeat thus start burning them from within.

What is it that you want to become, do you want to go where the rest of youths have gone to, by losing sanity and losing all morals of being upright.

I had calls from teachers crying over their children that have taken marijuana, and even crystal meth. You then wonder what type of youth the person will become, all filled up with marijuana and crystal meth.

Taking marijuana would mean your thoughts then become distorted, you might spend the whole day trying to prove to an individual that 1+1=2 because it gives someone a dreamy unreal sound mind, imagine dealing with such a youth who is already in his dreams.

Crystal meth makes things worse; it distorts your mind fully and returning to normal can take days or months.

You even watch the brothers and sisters sink away because of inhalants, they smoke the vapour which gives them a high and with loss of inhibition comes drowsiness, light headedness and agitations and these affect the brain as they starve it up.

Think on this before doing anything. Believe you can change for the better.
