FORMED less than five months ago, a new talent search organisation will be holding a dance battle at the Bulawayo Theatre on 15 October.

The dance battle – pitting groups and individual acts – aims to unearth talent in the City of Kings.

Infinni Talent Management’s Calvin Mhlanga called on aspiring dancers who think they have what it takes to impress judges of the day to register to take part in the dance battle.

Interested participants registering as solo performers will pay US$10 while groups will fork out US$20.

“As a performing act or a dancer, I know how hard it is to find people who will support your craft so that is why we came up with this initiative to give youths a platform to showcase their talents,” said Mhlanga.

Infinni Talent Management is an organisation established to empower the

young generation and was launched on 25 May.

The organisation focuses on modelling and dance.

Mhlanga believes the dance community in Bulawayo is growing rapidly and Infinni Talent Management aims to be the organisation of choice for dancers and models.

The prize money for the winning crew is US$500 while solo acts will pocket US$250 and for those who are interested in watching the battles the tickets are going for US$3.
