You reap what you sow!
It’s time to harvest for multi-award-winning South Africa-based gospel muso Canaan Nyathi as he has been once again nominated in Mzansi’s two elite gospel awards.
He is nominated seven times at the Independent National Gospel Music Awards (INGOMA) which are slated for 28 August at House of Treasure Ministries.
His live DVD Another Level of Grace upon Grace got him nominated for Album of the Year, Best Gospel collaboration (featuring Lusanda Beja), Best Worship Album, Best Live recorded DVD, Best Male Artiste, Artiste of the Year and Best song writer.
He is also nominated three times at the Horizons Gospel Music Awards which will be held on 25 September.
He is nominated for Best Male Artiste, Best Live DVD and People’s Anthem for his smash hit Babaziveze.
From his base in Bassonia, Johannesburg, Nyathi said he is grateful for the nominations and revealed that God is showing off with his life through awards and nominations.
“Gid is good all the times and he has never left my side. Ubaba Uyaziveza (God is showing himself) with these nominations and I am looking forward to scoop them because he is always with me because he says with his name anything is possible,” said Nyathi.
He said he had prepared for the moment of success (nominations).
“Spiritually, I got prepared way back because I knew with God on my side, I was going to achieve all that I desire. The DVD (Another Level of Grace upon Grace) has won a lot of awards for me and it has taken me from glory to glory.
“When you cast a seed to the soil you expect a bumper harvest. This is the same thing that I did in preparation of the DVD shoot and the vision is coming out clear as planned, its my moment to reap what I sow,” said Nyathi.
