BULAWAYO giants Highlanders will play the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League for four matches without the 2023 season kit owing to challenges faced by their supplier, B-Metro Sport has learnt.

Bosso together with Dynamos are sponsored by Sakunda Holdings, whose company name is displayed on both teams’ match day kits as well replica jerseys for fans.

It could not be immediately ascertained if Dynamos were experiencing the same predicament.

Highlanders were, however, quick to explain the kit challenge to stakeholders and fans in their official social media platforms.

“We would like to advise our valued stakeholders and fans that the release of the 2023 season playing kits  has been delayed due to circumstances beyond our control.

“Our manufacturers experienced unforeseen challenges, which they have overcome, though they still won’t be able to meet the deadline.

“This means that our first team will play our first four matches without this season kit as we expect our consignment by at least mid-April. We sincerely regret any convenience caused to all our stakeholders and fans,” said Highlanders in a statement.
