HIGHLANDERS chairman Johnfat Sibanda was on Wednesday in a major climbdown apologizing to Bosso members for the utterances he made before and after the club’s elections held in March.

After promising heavens on earth to Bosso members, Sibanda narrowly beat then incumbent Kenneth Mhlophe to assume the chairman’s position.

Soon after being elected into office Sibanda went on to claim the black and white army had been “captured.”

“It has since come to my attention that during the heat of elections and immediately thereafter there are some statements that I made which did not not go down well with a section of some of our members . I hereby sincerely apologies to all our members that were offended by my statements,” wrote Sibanda in a letter addressed to Bosso members.
