AN angry woman is a dangerous one!
This rings true to Dumisani Tshuma (26) from Bulawayo who nearly landed in jail after his wife lied to the police that he was in possession of a unlicensed firearm at home as punishment for beating her with a sjambok.
A source close to the incident said Tshuma and his wife Tsitsi Musingweni (20) had a fallout over an undisclosed issue.
The source said tempers boiled and Tshuma took a sjambok before he ordered his wife to lie on the ground facing downwards.
“He thrashed her several times with a sjambok on the back and thighs. He also kicked and slapped her on the buttocks fuming saying that she does not respect him and by physically attacking her she would change,” said the source.
After that Musingweni rushed to Nkulumane Police Station and reported the incident.
Police attended the scene and a sjambok used was discovered hidden in a wardrobe.
Later on during that same day the pair were involved in a quarrel after which Musingweni rushed again to the police station.
“She told police officers that her husband owns a gun and keeps it in the wardrobe. Cops dashed there and conducted a thorough search and found an electric shocker and four live rounds of ammunition hidden in a wardrobe,” said the source.
Tshuma vehemently denied to the police that he owned a gun, said the source.
