FOLLOWING a highly successful performance in October at the Palace Hotel gardens in Bulawayo, talented contemporary music star, Andrew Ngwenya, popularly known as Andy Muridzo is back at the joint by what organisers said was by “public demand”.

The Dherira hit maker backed by his Jeetaz Band, returns to stage tonight (Friday) at the hotel where he is expected to delight the fans with a cool mix of old and new songs. On the decks will be DJ Ayaxxx, Bhandit, Mandoza and Keitho.

Muridzo is currently riding high on the showbiz scene with arguably one of his best songs Nhekwe, a cultural song from his album Shiri Yamambo.

Show organiser and Palace Hotel proprietor Tapiwa Gandiwa said Andy was back in Bulawayo due to public demand. “It’s all systems go for the show. This show is going to be a show to remember as it has been organised due to public demand and it is also the last show to be hosted by Palace Hotel before the year ends.

“We heard our fans’ cries and we listened. That’s why we have decided to bring him back. We are appealing to music fanatics to come in numbers for a fun-filled night as we celebrate the end of 2022.

“Those who are going to turn up are not going to be disappointed as the Dherira hit maker takes to the stage,” said Gandiwa. Gandiwa said they would continue next year working with different musicians to bring more entertainment to the joint.
