Multi-award-winning gospel sensation Janet Manyowa who is riding high on the wave with her 2022 single Vaudze is billed to perform in Bulawayo live on 2 July, at a gig which is projected to be a no miss out show.

The concert which is dubbed “Wanqoba,” will be held at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Hall number 3.

Founders of KOKO records and former South Africa’s Joyous Celebration power couple Nqubeko Mbatha and his wife Ntokozo Mbambo-Mbatha will be part of the artistes who are lined up to share the stage with Manyowa.

Manyowa is expected to bless the audience with her hit worship song You are More which she featured Nqubeko Mbatha in 2019.

Another Joyous Celebration lead singer and backing vocalist Nomthi Sibisi of the uNkulunkulu Wezimanga fame, is also lined up on the gig.

Takesure Zamar Ncube (another former member of Joyous Celebration) will be part of the performers and his collaboration with Manyowa on Mutsvene is expected to be the highlight of the night.

Artistes such as Snowy, Wenyasha, Mai Mwamuka, choirs Vocal Ex and Harvest Music Choir, will perform at the concert.

Advance tickets are pegged at US$10, the VIP and the VVIP tickets are pegged at US$20 and US$40 respectively.

At the gate, standard tickets will be sold for US$15, VIP tickets will be going for US$25 and those who want the VVIP experience will have to part with US$50.

Attendance of all foreign based acts has been confirmed and they will arrive on the day of the gig.
